Last updated: June 2026Track A: listing and viewing-management platform
Important status
This page is a working draft for UAT and should be reviewed by a Nigerian lawyer before full public launch.
D'Tinto Housefinder is intended to operate as a property listing and viewing-management platform. It is not intended to act as an estate agent, escrow service, property valuer, legal adviser, title guarantor, or property manager.
What the platform does
- Allows landlords, caretakers, developers, or authorised property representatives to submit property listings.
- Allows tenants and buyers to search listings, save properties, request viewings, and report suspicious listings.
- May carry out platform trust checks such as phone checks, photo review, address privacy review, field check, owner/caretaker authority review, or document review.
- May help coordinate viewing requests between landlords, tenants, buyers, caretakers, and authorised representatives.
- May provide safety guidance, complaint handling, takedown review, privacy request handling, and report-management tools.
- May offer optional support services such as listing photo/video support, field inspection reports, diaspora viewing support, paid verification requests, and landlord-instructed tenancy agreement assistance.
- May provide tenancy agreement preparation or tenancy review only where the request is accepted through the platform's legal-service workflow and handled by D'Tinto Housefinder company lawyers or lawyers formally engaged by the company.
- May provide legal-support review for platform-related matters such as tenancy documentation, landlord document review, listing legal review, complaint legal review, and related Track B-lite support services.
What the platform does not do
- We do not guarantee property ownership, title, land validity, building approval, or the legal status of any property.
- We do not collect rent, deposits, purchase funds, agency commission, or escrow money under the current platform model.
- We do not hold money on behalf of landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, agents, caretakers, or developers.
- We do not independently negotiate rent or sale prices on behalf of users.
- We do not act as an estate surveyor, valuer, title verifier, property manager, escrow provider, or payment intermediary.
- We do not prepare sale or purchase agreements through the platform's standard workflow.
- We do not provide general legal advice to all users simply because they use the platform.
- Any legal support, tenancy agreement preparation, tenancy agreement review, landlord document review, or complaint legal review must be handled only through an accepted legal-service request and by D'Tinto Housefinder company lawyers or lawyers formally engaged by the company.
- Tenancy agreement preparation must be based on the landlord/property owner's express instruction and confirmed rental terms.
- Platform trust checks, field reports, document reviews, and verification badges do not replace independent legal due diligence, title investigation, survey, valuation, or personal inspection.
User responsibility
Users must carry out their own inspection, checks, and due diligence before making payment, signing an agreement, or committing to a property.
Users must not submit false information, fake listings, stolen photos, misleading prices, or listings they have no authority to advertise.
Platform action
D'Tinto Housefinder may remove listings, pause listings, request evidence, restrict accounts, suspend users, or escalate serious reports where we believe platform rules or safety standards have been breached.
Important:These pages are written as operational draft text for D'Tinto Housefinder. Final wording should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch, especially before paid services, radio/TV adverts, verification claims, or tenancy agreement assistance go live.
